THURSDAY 10 OCTOBER 2019 | 1PM – 5PM
UNIVERSITY OF ANTWERP
STADSCAMPUS | KLOOSTER VAN DE GRAUWZUSTERS
Lange Sint-Annastraat 7, 2000 Antwerpen
Like our society, our universities and university colleges are globalising at a rapid pace. This presents us with exciting challenges. We have already recognised the importance of international mobility of students and staff on the one hand and of our curricula on the other hand.
But are our higher education institutions also ready in breadth and depth to provide answers to the needs of their globalised population? After all, this is the essence of ‘comprehensive internationalisation’, a concept that is gaining momentum and that deserves our attention.
This seminar is aimed at policy makers and teaching staff of AUHA’s four higher education institutions who are active in the field of internationalisation. At the same time, it is also explicitly aimed at colleagues in support services: think of student-centred services, personnel, communication, social services, facilities…
In short, everyone in our higher education institutions who wants to provide a high-quality service to an increasingly international audience of students, staff, educational partners and other stakeholders.
Come discover how we can support both teachers and administrative staff to positively channel the increasing diversity in our institutions.
Who’s it for? Teachers, professors, administrative support staff (internationalisation, human resources, social services, educational innovation, etc.), policy officers & policy makers of Antwerp Maritime Academy, AP University College Antwerp, Karel de Grote University College Antwerp and University of Antwerp.
