United* by safer cycling – Critical Mass Bike Ride – Students and Staff Special

The partner institutions of the Antwerp University Association (AUHA) are United* by what connects them: science, innovation, art, diversity, entrepreneurship, and social engagement. The United* campaign is not a one-time initiative, but a lasting commitment. Throughout the year, we demonstrate through concrete initiatives how United* strengthens collaboration between our institutions and builds an inclusive, connected higher education community.

Our partner institutions – University of Antwerp, KdG University of Applied Sciences and Arts, AP University of Applied Sciences and Arts, and Antwerp Maritime Academy – are joining forces for the Critical Mass Bike Ride – Students and Staff Special! This special edition brings our campuses together for a collective bike ride that celebrates cycling and connects our city.

Join fellow students and colleagues to cycle through the city centre of Antwerp on Friday, April 24! 🚲

This guided ride will pass several campuses of our association and emphasizes the importance of cycling safety. With over 58,000 students and 8,350 staff members – many of whom cycle daily – we already contribute to a healthier, more sustainable city. 🌿

To encourage even more people to choose the bike, safe routes to and from the campuses are essential. That’s why we warmly invite you to join! Feel free to bring your fellow students, housemates, colleagues, and friends along for the ride.

You can start at Theaterplein or join from one of the AUHA campuses along the route. After the ride, everyone is invited to enjoy a well-deserved ice cream at Theaterplein. 🍦
